I just defected from apple back to windows via a quadcore VAIO laptop (entirely so that i could run Dragon naturallySpeaking Professional 11. Im severely physically handicapped and wont be able to type much longer so i grit my teeth set my jaw and set down the $600 fee for the professional version of their dictation software, and quite by accident found out that BlogJet is totally compatible with Dragon Pro 11 -- and not just kina-sorta compatible -- Im talking I was able to dictate at over 120 words a minute and the correction system works flawlessly.., I can even dictate blog post topics, tags, and manipulate every part of blogjet with my voice. I don't know if you did anything to MAKE blogjet play nice with the best dictation software on the market or if you simply have some of the best coders there are, biut either way if I'm not already in the promised land for bloggers I am absolutely certakin that i can see it from here. This software in short, and quite by accident has totally revolutionized my life - that sounds corny but when your as disabled as I am, bring able to dictate blog content means that my post production rate can exceed even the fastest typists without breaking a sweat. For someone like me, implications like that are a BIG DEAL. </p> <p>SO in return for creating such a wonderful program, I was wondering if you guys already have images that I can display prominently on the front page of my blog(s) stating that i use BlogJet exclusively to create all my content, and if not, could you please make some? If that is not possible, could I possibly get permission to display the coding robots logo instead? I'm also working very hard to get the word out to other disabled people that use Dragon (there are literally hundreds of thousands that use one version or another) that BlogJet is fully compatible... I don't expect anything in return, but all the people that I convince to buy a copy will be leaving a note when they purchase that I sent them to you. You definitely deserve the business, just as the Dragon users deserve the functionality you have graciously provided.</p> <p>Also - as an addendum... I don't know anything about programming in windows 7 but from an accessibility point of view it would help a lot of people with disabilities, myself included, (and every other normal person with simple bad eyesight) if you went against the flow of conventional wisdom and rather than use the typical incredibly hard to see sliver of a cursor and provided an oldschool filled in rectangle for a cursor. It would also help if you made cursor blinking optional, because for people like me with vision issues its really easy to lose the cursor in a block of text that exceeds three lines.. If this is impossible then forget it -- I just thought that i would mention it since i am taking the time to write this post i thought i would throw that feature request in with my primary one... But the graphical BlogJet badge is a big deal to me.
