I have had this app since 2010 and have made an update since then. I save each time I type a journal. Now I am trying to review some that I've written in the past months, and nothing but a blank page appears with the date and the time that the journal was first written. At the bottom bar it states "1 entry" but the IS NO entry. "Finder" has all of the journals that have appeared blank as 12MB. This is a disaster! Help please! Everything I've ever written in Memoire's I've saved. This is appearing for some but not all of my journals, but unfortunately the most important ones. HELP!

Apple's App Store doesn't support Leopard. You can't even run the App Store itself on 10.5; and Apple requires all applications submitted to the App Store support only 10.6 or later.

Please purchase directly from our website -- http://www.codingrobots.com/memoires/order/ -- to get Leopard version.

If you already purchased a version from the App Store, you can a) ask Apple for refund, or b) write to me -- dmitry@codingrobots.com to resolve the issue.

Hello,

I'm still running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The demo of Mémoires (at this time: Version 3.2 (52)) works fine on my computer, but when I try to purchase it from the app store, I'm told that the full version requires Mac OS X version 10.6.8.

Will the full version of Mémoires work on my older Mac OS X, and if so, how do I proceed to download it from the app store?

They can't be zoomed, sorry. I didn't intend to make Memoires "a collection of papers/stuff" kind of program -- it's more suitable for diary/notes with images and, occasionally, embedded files.

I think you'd be more happy with a program like Yojimbo (http://www.barebones.com/products/yojimbo/) -- it seem to be more suitable to your workflow. Please let me know if you'd like a refund (by email -- dmitry@codingrobots.com).

Sorry, I can do nothing with bugs in Mac OS X or video drivers apart from reporting them and trying to find workaround. So far I haven't found a workaround because I have no dual video card MacBook Pro with NVIDIA, and Apple stopped producing them (they use AMD cards now).

I'm not sure why Apple hasn't fixed this in 10.6.x series yet. Has anyone here with this issue updated to 10.7? If so, I'd be interested to hear if it's fixed in 10.7.

I have a MacBook Pro 10.6.8 and bought Memoires a few months ago. Have only just pressed the full screen icon and it left me with the black screen and I had to force quit. Also my computer started to go really slowly after that. Not a happy bunny - I think if you are being charged for a product obvious problems like this shouldn't happen.
Thanks for your attention - What say you Dmitry?

I bought Memoire to enable me to organise pdf files into date order (over 1000 of them) and find they are all too small to read when dragged and dropped in. I can find no way of zooming or adjusting the pds. I've tried to make them bigger before importing but to no avail.

Can pdf's be zoomed?

If I drag in an audio file as part of my entry, there are occasions when it is not 'seen' when I try to click on the play button. In fact no part of the rectangle containing: speaker; play; scroll; or tabs will work.

Then for a reason I don't know, it just starts to work again. I can move away from the entry and return to find it may or may not work when I get back.

I accidentally had the wrong date selected when I did my first recording and can't figure out how to move it. I went to the file folders Library>Application Support> etc etc and made a new folder with the right date and copied it into there, but when I reload the program it only shows it in the original folder and not on the new, correct date. How do I fix it?

OK, I've figured out through browsing this Forum that over the last couple of years I've created a slew of different Journals, rather than one Journal with separate Entries (wish I'd browsed the website and realized this when I first got the program, sigh...)

Anyway, I'm opening my old Journals that I created, each with only one entry, and called things like "2011April25.memoire". I'm copy/pasting them under the appropriate date into the new Journal I created and titled "2011."

If I haven't entered a title for the single entry within each journal I mistakenly created, it seems that Memoires only opens a blank window. Say I created a file called "2011March1.memoire" but I didn't title the single entry for that date within the journal. When I try to open it - open the file, click over to March 1, 2011 on the Calendar - the title at the top is "Untitled" and there's an entry called "Untitled" under Entries at the left of the page. However, when I click on it no journal text appears, just a blank page.

Also, the "show all" menu item under the main Memoires pulldown is always grayed out, and I can't seem to get a list of the entries I've copied and pasted into the new "2011" journal.

Clicking to a particular month on the Calendar shows little white circles around dates, and if I click on each date I can see the entry for that date, but there isn't anything in the "Entries" list for that month.

My workaround has been typing the word "the" into the "All Entries" search dialogue, but this seems clumsy.

(edited to remove something I was able to fix)

Thanks for any info. I'm on a 2007 MacBookPro, using Snow Leopard.

We talked by email, but I just wanted to explain here in forum for the benefit of everyone.

* Currently Mémoires doesn't support importing from RTFD. You can open the file in TextEdit, create a new entry manually and copy and paste the content into it from TextEdit.

* To sync a journal between computers, you can use Dropbox. Just put your journal into your Dropbox folder (File > Save As..., and select this folder), and it will be syncing.

The common mistake is to enter "Licensed to" name differently -- make sure you preserve the case (just copy and paste it).
