I have just downloaded the new update, and the "but" is gone. Unfortunately I only get a black screen. Please advice if I made a mistake or missed the point. I am able to quick the program and return to reality.

I am running the latest OS on the new PowerBook Pro.

Thank you

Yep, sorry about that. I have sent the update to Apple yesterday; it will be up when they review it.

Due to mistake, the required image file didn't make in into the app bundle when building the release version, so the program shows the default text ("Button"). I'm glad it didn't cut before "o" :-)

Hi there,

In version 3.2(52) of Mémoires a full screen button was added to the upper right of the frame.
Though a nice feature, what actually shows up is the word "But" and not in the form of a button.
You can click "But" and the app sure goes full screen but i hardly think it was meant to look like this.

iMac with OS X 10.6.7 (10J869) in 64-bit mode

Yes, but what I meant is that for people like me, who uses it just for having a diary (working with one file all the time) it might be useful. Well, thanks anyway :) was just a suggestion. Keep doing a great job!

Since Mémoires is a document-based application, it would be considered bad if it quits on close button.

As for asking for a password -- this is because when there's no open journals, it will try to open an untitled journal. Since "Reopen last document on startup" is hooked to this action, it will try opening the last journal. This is definitely a bug, and it will be fixed.

(As a workaround, you can turn off "Reopen last document on startup" option in Preferences. Or just Cmd+Q the program :)

Thank you!

Hi there,

I guess it would be not that hard to implement a feature to enable users exit the application with the close button. It might be available through a checkbox in the Preferences panel, for example.

It launches instantly on my machine. And in the case you have an encrypted file – it asks for a password after you've closed the program (even though it's still running).

What do you think?

I would like to see a "Today" button that would jump to today's date, similar to the one in iCal.
