Nope. It wasn't that. Something far more mundane. Something has changed in character encoding. I'm betting your password is a proper, safe one, one with non standard characters in it? The one causing problems with us had an ampersand in it. Failed. Changed to a simple alpha-numeric one ... worked.

Hope this helps.

Hello. This hit us yesterday as well - pretty sure I know what the issue is, will post again if I'm correct. I think it's to do with mod_security, and the root is as discussed here:

<a href="http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999" rel="nofollow">http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999</a>

Actually, I'm sure it's to do with mod_security, as three other blogs are on 2.5, they all work fine from BlogJet, and none of those boxes are security hardened. So, it'll likely be a line or two in .htaccess that's required. Watch this space.

I can't submit my post since upgrading to WP 2.5 yesterday, it is not recognizing my log on like the screen shot above only saying wrong password/logon.
However it is the right log on and password.

I wrote support yesterday, any suggestions, I really love blogjet and don't want to go back to posting straight onto WP, although it is easier with the new download. I wrote the post in BJ and copy and pasted it into WP.

I did contact my web host and they couldn't turn off the mod as it affects everyone on the server.. so they say.

I decided to install it on another computer and tested it and it worked so I uninstalled from my main machine.. grabbed a new download and now it works on all my sites...

Must have been an issue in the installation process.

Thanks for the support

Oops, sorry, haven't read your post carefully.

The problem is that your hosting provider turned on mod_security for Apache, and it seems like they don't allow it to be turned off from the .htaccess file. Please contact them and ask to turn off mod_security (at least for xmlrpc.php).

This was one of my favorites, but as i said, it crashes the page. I found some information on the wordpress.org concerning the xmlrpc.php. It seems that this files has some changes in the current version.

Would it help to create an account in my blog for you ?

Hi,

i ve created a new blog at schoessow.mobi with the latest wordpress version 2.3.1. Blogjet cannot connect to that blog, although it connects to 4 other wordpressblogs (older versions) on the same server.

I found a "solution" on your wiki, but this little hack "crashes" the site.

I can open the xmlrpc.php with a browser.

The error is: ode 123
the file name, directory name, or volume syntax is incorrect. (EOSerror)

Any help is appreciated.

Well, that's a shame really, since in MOST companies there are always proxies, so I bet this is important for MANY people. Why not change your framework provider? :)
