Search:
Quick search bar in the bottom should also absorb the "Find" features from the menu search. If you search for a word is should not only display a list of the journal entries, but highlight the search entry as well.

Currently to see the highlighted instances you have to first do a quick search, and then go through, entry by entry, doing the Find option from the menu to see highlighted instances of whatever it is you're looking for. That should all be built into one search field.

Exporting:
When exporting to PDF the text should be aligned to the top of the page, not the middle. Extra text that flows over the page looks extremely awkward center justified.

Hi

I am looking if there will be a export/import function for BlogJet settings, it will take up much of our time if I need to-re-keyin all my blogs setting to another new installation.

Thank You

Hi,

I love the simplistic usability of Memoires, but would like to ask about future features before I commit to buy...

Will there be a way to selectively print/export a group of certain entries? For example, if I search for a term/keyword I'd like to be able to export the results within a certain date range.

Also, will there be an option to resize images within an entry and wrap the text around it? One of your competitors (callitaday) has this feature, which creates really nice-looking journal entries - but overall I think Memoires would be better if it could incorporate this feature.

We've discussed and resolved this issue by email.

Summary: Mémoires fails to export when there's an entry with an empty title (not "Untitled", but really empty).
Workaround: open "All Entries" view, find entries with empty titles and rename them.

The fix is ready and will be in the next release.

I purchased Memoires two months ago. Great, simple software, but one
thing bothers me:

I want to keep a backup of my notes in rft-fomat, but the program will
not export the diary (with around 100 entries). If I choose to export,
I only get the "exporting..." message for hours, no file is created,
and I have to quit the program to be able to write new entries.

The diary is encrypted, but I guess that should not create any trouble
for the exporting process, or??

But, if I create a new file, with just one entry, there is no problem
with the export...

Any suggestions?

Just copy the journal file itself. You can find out where it's located by holding Command and clicking on the icon in the title bar of Mémoires (screenshot: http://imgur.com/MTa5e.png).

I have an encrypted blog on my old computer and I'd like to move it to my new computer. What files do I need to move over? I've tried exporting my journal, but there is no option to import the resulting file into the program.

Memoires 2.0 (44)
Mac OS X 10.6.1 build 10B504
1. Write something in an entry without saving.
2. Export to RTFD.
3. Exported file doesn't have unsaved changes. I expected it to export what's currently on the screen, not what's currently saved.

Hi, I think it would be a great feature the ability to navigate the entries if I was able to hit the arrow keys and go to the next posted day. Another thing, if there was a list view of all entries, instead of only being able to see one day posts.
Gives a helicopter view of what has been wrote.
Other great feature to implement is more control over export. It would be interesting the option to export to .pages or .doc with each field in the entry associated with a style: for example, the date from all entries has the "DATE" style in Pages, so if I want to change the date appearance in the Pages document (to afterwards print), i can easily change the style. The same for Title and Body.

Thanks
Merry Christmas!
