The switch didn't work well -- some users were complaining that groups were not as convenient to use as forums, discussions slowed down, plus there were a lot of spam (it appears, Google Groups doesn't have any antispam protection). Also, even though, we didn't remove old posts, we couldn't transfer them to Google Groups, and a lot of community knowledge were hidden under the old forum address.</p> <p>So we are resurrecting the forums -- with a different forum software. I converted topics and comments from the old forum (some formatting were lost, though), and transfered user accounts. If you registered before, you don't need to do it again. If you forgot your password, or for some reason it doesn't work -- please use the password recovery option.
