Sorry, I can do nothing with bugs in Mac OS X or video drivers apart from reporting them and trying to find workaround. So far I haven't found a workaround because I have no dual video card MacBook Pro with NVIDIA, and Apple stopped producing them (they use AMD cards now).

I'm not sure why Apple hasn't fixed this in 10.6.x series yet. Has anyone here with this issue updated to 10.7? If so, I'd be interested to hear if it's fixed in 10.7.

I have a MacBook Pro 10.6.8 and bought Memoires a few months ago. Have only just pressed the full screen icon and it left me with the black screen and I had to force quit. Also my computer started to go really slowly after that. Not a happy bunny - I think if you are being charged for a product obvious problems like this shouldn't happen.
Thanks for your attention - What say you Dmitry?

I just bought this product. i sure would have liked to have known it had an issue with full screens on Macs beforehand. First thing I did was try to make it fullscreen only to get a black screen. Very disappointing. :(

Mémoires uses Cocoa's enterFullScreenMode: method to go full screen. Although, I don't have a dual-card Mac to reproduce it, I think there's an issue in Apple's frameworks, so I'm helpless here.

Please let me know if they resolved this in 10.6.6.

I just bought Memoires (app store). The app (and my iMac) freezes every time I tried 'insert image'. I cannot close this window and the iMac freezes. Restart needed.

I'm having a small issue with the software when I take the software into fullscreen on my new MacBook Pro. The software will make my entire screen black and nothing else. I have to invoke force quit to stop this. However, I have a tool that I can use to force my MPB to use only the intel chip or only the NVIDIA chip, and if I make it stay on one or the other, then it works just fine. It appears that the graphics switch is causing the application to freeze somehow. It's only when the system is set to Dynamic switching (the default) that this happens.

BTW, if you're interested, the software is called gfxCardStatus, v 1.8.1

Thanks!

While I am writing in Memoires, the program keeps freezing while the coloured revolving wheel turns for 30 seconds or so, I assume this is saving. This is very annoying and Word doesn't behave like this.

Ok, i am now able to reproduce the problem. It happens when i am flipping through the flickr pictures to fast on the insert "image box". Went a little fast, before it was done getting the next pictures i pressed the next again because i knew it was further out. Then the OK and Cancel button stopped working.

Btw: flipping through flickr images to post them on the blog is a hazl! Goes really slow.

I have an really annoying problem!!
During writing a blog post and pressing the insert image the "OK" and "Cancel" butten stops working sometimes. Nothing happens when i push them. Everything else works fine on the insert image box, like changing all parameters and choosing pictures both from flickr and localy. But the final step, pressing ok or cancel does not work at times. This happens almost every other time i post an blogpost with images. I am not able to save my post and all my work is gone when i finally have to force close the program. I am posting my images from the flickr service. At times when i press the next button to see the next images i get an error message "Connection lost" or something like that, but then it works fine again (Maybe linked??). I am looking at my flickr images in an browser at the same time i am writing an posting pictures on BlogJet.

BlogJet seems to use 50% of my CPU when it hangs but nothing happens. (I have waited hours, because loosing my post is annoying).
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit on a Dell E6400 laptop.
I am using BolgJet version 2.0.0.10
I am posting to Squarespace, mostad.squarespace.com

Thanks for discovering the issue and solution! I'm not sure why it works bad, but I'll check it. The thing is, BlogJet is not Unicode internally (due to the programming environment and libraries), and relies on Windows locale for conversion.

Just found the reason. Seems like the spell check reacts incredibly bad when a post is written in a different encoding than the windows default for non unicode ones. It just crashed on doing the check (even before showing any window) as I have used the option to check every time before I post. Lucky! Now with the right setting, the spelling check works and I can post fine. The odd thing is that I could do this beforehand ... not sure why it did not work for this post...

Any other idea? E.g. is there some log file so that I can at least see what it is trying to do ? It seems like it freezes even before trying to connect to the internet (I started up a firewall and that one doesn't pop up the usual warning). At the moment I feel really stupid, because I used BJ for the trial period without any problems, but as soon as I buy it, it stops working...

That was the first thing I tried. That said, considering that I can still edit and publish old posts and other new posts (to the same blog of course) it can hardly be a computer problem. It appears to be something about this post - my guess would be some encoding, invalid character, bad HTML, .... but it is kinda hard to find without anything to start from and no obvious errors.

Hi,
My latest post in BlogSpot always freezes the client when trying to publish. After cutting out 99% of the text I could post it (only title and a handfull of words though) but I couldn't determine anything which is really causing it to fail. Any idea how I can get it to post? I already replaced most of the pictures with flickr (so that it doesn't need to upload anything), cut out various parts but it doesn't seem to work. Editing and posting older posts works reliably and until now I never had problems.

Any idea of what I can do?
