Dmitry, Actually I have never been able to use BlogJet behind my company's proxy server. That is why I was eagerly waiting for this release.

I the proxy is "squid/2.5.STABLE1" (http://www.squid-cache.org/).

I am a developer myself so I do not mind running a debug build of the tool. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Vasanth, thanks! I know, you've been using BlogJet for a long time now. Did you try connecting via this proxy previously? If so, did the previous version work? (since I rewrote the code for proxy connection, the problem may be there).

One more question: what software does you corporate server use for proxy? (if you can tell, of course).

Thanks!

Hi,

I am still having this problem. I followed the steps you mentioned many times now. I have a feeling that Blogjet does not send the username and password to the proxy server. Has anyone successfully used Blogjet from behind an authenticated proxy server?

I double checked the proxy configuration. In fact I deleted the registry entry for BlogJet and configured it again. I still get the same error. Is there a debug option in BlogJet so that I can get more information about whats happening?

Here's additional info:

Click Tools > Preferences... > Connection (or Connection Settings... link in the Account Wizard if you can't access the main window), then select "Custom configuration", check "HTTP" and enter your proxy settings (don't forget to click on button with keys to specify your username and password for this proxy).

The error message ("Server said") comes from your proxy. It says "Cache Access Denied", so seems like something wrong with authentication. Could you please re-check your username/password for this proxy?

I tried to configure Blogjet to work behind our company proxy server. I get the following error:
BlogJet Error
---------------------------
Invalid payload received from xml-rpc server.

Please check your Host and Page settings for this account.

Server said:

I tried to configure a Blogger blog and a dasBlog one. Both give the same error. Both blogs work from home where there is no proxy.

Am I doing some thing wrong?
