Adding new categories from within Blogjet

    Is there a way to add new post categories from within Blogjet without having to use the web interface of my blog engine (in this case dasBlog)? Thanks!

    I would like that as well. I know it hasn't been possible earlier, but apparently the newewst version of Windows Live Writer (Build 14.0.8064.206 en) is capable of it with the current version of Wordpress.com-blogs. I'm not sure of the technicalities in this though.

    I haven't looked yet, but I don't think dasBlog support this.

    As for WordPress, yes, their API supports adding categories now, so it's something we're looking into implementing in BlogJet.
