I get this error on blogjet when trying to create a new account -

It tells me that I need to clear "Use SSL" checkbox in account settings

Which account settings? Is this in blogjet or blogger?

I can't enter blogjet setting without creating a new account.

I am stacked with this - can you help? thanks

I have been receiveing the same error the past two weeks. Unfortuneately no one from the company responds to support requests even though I have a bona fide purchase. I use my blog in my business and need real-time support, not waiting for days to get a response.

Everyone beware, I have not received support for BlogJet. I'm now using Raven with Blogger as it's free and it works with the Blogger API.

Just to let you know that we're investigating this issue. It appears some Blogger accounts have SSL issues, and some don't. We'll let you know when we reproduce and fix the issues.

    Thank you!

I get the same SSL error. This is very disappointing as I chose Blogjet because it could integrate with Blogger. When will the solution arrive??

SSL issues to connect with blogger continue. As it sets, blogjet is useless. When will there be a fix?

Is the company ever going to fix this? It has been a month of downtime. If you are not, just say so so we can all move on and spend our time and money elsewhere.

mhoekema: Yes, there will be a fix. The patch is ready, but we need to do more work, because we can't apply it to the current version.

Unfortunately, this is one of the cons of using APIs to talk with third-party servers: when third party changes something on their servers, we need to stop current development and issue a fix with changes. This issue happened in unfortunate time for us, because we're transitioning our code base to a different development environment and rewriting some core parts, and cannot issue the patch immediately until the transition completes. We can't give you the exact date of the next release, because we don't know it; but you can be sure that we're working hard on it.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Dimitry:

Here's the rub. I paid for software which is not working. You have my money, I have nothing for it right now. You tell me you can't fix it for whatever reason. Now I have something which is useless and at your mercy regarding timeline. I bought this to publish to blogger and expect you to keep up with their techincal requirements. Every other software I work with provides patches and support within hours/days...you don't. I don't run a business at the whims of waiting for fixes so am going to write this software off.

You have my money, but you don't have my understanding. I won't make that mistake again.
