Hi, i am using WordPress 2.2 (latest at the moment), latest BlogJet (*.9 - downloaded from the site yesterday), WinXP SP2 ENG, and i am behind the proxy. When i am trying to connect to the WP using my credentials, i get the following EM: i've set up the proxy details (so the BlogJet could have connected to the blog and detect what blog is that). I can open the xmlrpc.php file separately in browser. (i get XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.)

It seems like your proxy server denies access to your blog. Could you please post details on your proxy?

I was rather refering to the fact that this might tell one that it's an "issue" on BJ's side, since other program can connect through the same proxy (=why BJ can't?). That's all.

Yeah, it's definitely a BlogJet's issue. We use a connection framework that has a sucky support for proxies (especially, Microsoft's ISA server) :( P.S. Forgot to put a smiley to my previous post, sorry :)

Why not change your framework provider? :) P.S. No problemo ;)

Actually, it doesn't work with some specific authentication configurations on some specific proxies. We're trying to collect information about those servers to fix it.

I can't submit my post since upgrading to WP 2.5 yesterday, it is not recognizing my log on like the screen shot above only saying wrong password/logon. However it is the right log on and password. I wrote support yesterday, any suggestions, I really love blogjet and don't want to go back to posting straight onto WP, although it is easier with the new download. I wrote the post in BJ and copy and pasted it into WP.

One more thing it is BJ version 2.0.0.10 and the /xmlrpc.php is correct.

Hello. This hit us yesterday as well - pretty sure I know what the issue is, will post again if I'm correct. I think it's to do with mod_security, and the root is as discussed here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999 Actually, I'm sure it's to do with mod_security, as three other blogs are on 2.5, they all work fine from BlogJet, and none of those boxes are security hardened. So, it'll likely be a line or two in .htaccess that's required. Watch this space.

Nope. It wasn't that. Something far more mundane. Something has changed in character encoding. I'm betting your password is a proper, safe one, one with non standard characters in it? The one causing problems with us had an ampersand in it. Failed. Changed to a simple alpha-numeric one ... worked. Hope this helps.

ginestra, actually my password is standard with letters and numbers, no funky things. Should I just change the password anyway ?
