FTP upload help

    I'm trying to get pictures to upload via FTP and not having any success.
    Blogjet version: 2.5.0.3
    Windows 7
    Wordpress 2.92
    webhost: webmasters.com
    website: http://www.badbits.us/wordpress/
    location of wordpress theme: http://www.badbits.us/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/
    location of images folder: http://www.badbits.us/httpdocs/images
    (I really don't care if it's placed somewhere else if that works better)

    I don't have to use the "httpdocs" in the path to reach the website.

    I'd appreciate any help I could get in configuring the ftp part of the site.

    Does the base web path of images matches the path in FTP? If you upload something to this path via FTP, can you access it from the web?

    Example:

    Remote Folder: /public_html/images
    Base URL: http://www.example.com/images/

    I ftp'd an image to this location: http://www.badbits.us/httpdocs/images

    When I went to http://www.badbits.us/httpdocs/images I get a Not Found error. "Sorry, the requested URL /httpdocs/images/ was not found on this server."

    If I go to http://www.badbits.us/images/ I get a Forbidden error - "You don't have permission to access /images/ on this server."

    Can you access it by an URL with image name? E.g. http://www.badbits.us/images/your_image.jpg ?

    Yes! I ftp'd an image called MIC.jpg. I can see it with http://www.badbits.us/images/MIC.jpg
    I just can't post the image there with Blogjet.

    Good! So in BlogJet use:

    Remote Folder: remote folder your uploaded your image to
    Base URL: http://www.badbits.us/images/

    Still not uploading. Here are the major settings I'm using:

    Edit connection settings
    Provider: WordPress (direct upload)
    Host: http://www.badbits.us
    Page: /wordpress/xmlrpc.php
    Port 80

    Login
    Username and password (I got that right)

    FTP Upload Configuration
    * Custom settings:
    Path for files on host: images/
    Address of files (URL): http://www.badbits.us/images/

    Enter Account Title and Address
    Title: Bad Bits2
    Address: http://www.badbits.us/wordpress

    It seems you're using direct upload via WordPress instead of FTP. So just don't change any settings (don't select "Use custom settings") — it should work out of the box.

    Still not working. Here are the settings I'm using after changing to default upload config:

    Edit connection settings

    Page: /wordpress/xmlrpc.php
    Port 80

    Login
    Username and password (I got that right)

    FTP Upload Configuration
    * Use default upload location

    Enter Account Title and Address
    Title: Bad Bits4
    Address: http://www.badbits.us/wordpress

    When I publish I get the message that "Some images have not been uploaded. Do you want to post the text anyway?"
