    Hi there,

I am having issues getting the extend entries to work.

I am wanting to split long articles into shorter intros
so that I can fix the length of our webpage.

Also the person who will be adding blogs doent want to have
to add code in there html area..basically after a way in which she
can just prees a putton or paste into the main editor and then carry on
    writting.

Can some one please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Just click Format > Extended Entry to get a separator in the editor. You can write extended entry below this separator.

    Hi Dmirty,

    Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately I have tried that and have not had any success.

As you can see the code is added..

<p>Effective listening is challenging, in part, because people often are more focused on what they're saying than on what they're hearing in return. According to a recent study by the Harvard Business Review, people think the voice mail they send is more important than the voice mail they receive. Generally, senders think that their message is more helpful and urgent than do the people who receive it.</p><more>Read More</more>

...and on the post the words Read more appear but do not link or spilt the post.

The actual post can be seen here.

The article i am testing on is Test 2

I inserted the extended entry function in both html and normal view and it seems to make now difference.

I am using the trial version of BlogJet (downlaoded Yesterday) and other than this does all we are requiring.

Our blog is hosted at bloggerspot.com (missionmatters.blogspot.com)

I have also tried to use windows live writer and that doesnt work either....

Are you able to point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

Ah, it's Blogger. Unfortunately, Blogger doesn't support extended posts.

Please try logging in to Blogger, then click Settings > Formatting and select No for "Convert line breaks".

Oh, that is unfortunate....is there a hard code / template work around?

or what blogging sites do support extended posts?

Thanks for the prompt replies, they are appreciated.

Simple to utilise and simple to use....
