Socket Error Connection Timed Out

Hello,

I am attempting to establish the first connection to my blog via BlogJet. I have a self hosted WordPress blog. The URL is http://www.thebeachcruiser.com/blog. I followed the instructions of another forum member and used that as my host and /xmlrpc.php as the page. When I attempt to login, the program hangs for a long time and then I get the time out error.

Had intended to attach an image of the error itself but the board does not allow it.

Please make sure your firewall/antivirus program doesn't block BlogJet. If you have firewall installed on your computer, add BlogJet to the exceptions list.
