Tables and iWork Numbers

Adding tables is a great feature in new release. But I checked C&P with Numbers (I do not have Excel on my Mac computer, so I cannot say anything here) and it does not work smooth enough. It is possible to paste into Memories, but not from Memories into Numbers. Do you plan fixing this? It would be helpful indeed.

I cannot reproduce this, it pastes the table for me. What version of Numbers do you use (mine is 2.0.3)?

Yes, it works one way, but not vice versa. I am using 2.0.3 as well. If you try to create a table in Memories and paste it into Numbers it does not preserve the structure of the table.

Hmm, I can copy and paste both ways. I haven't tried with complex tables, but the one on the screenshot works (it preserves the table contents). In any case, the receiving application is responsible for how it applies the formatting. Mémoires uses the same text editor control as TextEdit, provided by Cocoa; a table is copied in RTF format into the pasteboard, Numbers then take(s) it from there and reformat(s) to fit its own data structures.

Yes, it works now. Just depends on the way one selects a table in Memories. Sorry for the mess and thanks for a nice program.
